OLX commercial 2017

This 35-second 2017 commercial is for OLX, the online classifieds marketplace. Its poster frame shows two women in a bright, colourful living room crowded with furniture, pictures and objects — the kind of room full of things that a classifieds site is built around. Terminal FX published the spot on its Vimeo channel in 2017 and tagged its work as retouching, animation, motion design and compositing.

A set dense with props is demanding in post. Every object has to stay clean and consistent from shot to shot, animated elements have to move among real furniture without floating, and graphics have to find space in a busy frame without cluttering it. Retouching and compositing hold the picture together so the idea stays simple.
