Kyivstar social networks commercial

This 45-second commercial for Kyivstar, the Ukrainian mobile operator, promotes social networking on its tariffs. The poster frame splits between people on a city street and a blue panel reading Соцмережі там, де ви (“Social networks wherever you are”) and У тарифах Київстар (“In Kyivstar tariffs”). Terminal FX published the spot on its Vimeo channel in 2017 and tagged its work as motion design, compositing and clean-up.

Telecom advertising leans on graphic systems that have to stay consistent across a whole campaign. Brand colour, type and layout carry the offer, live action provides the people, and the two have to meet without either feeling pasted on. Clean-up keeps the city plates tidy, and compositing and motion design tie the panels and messages into a single rhythm.
