Kaspi Bank mobile app commercial

This 30-second commercial announces the mobile app of Kaspi Bank, the Kazakhstan bank behind Kaspi.kz. The poster frame shows a man surrounded by floating message cards in which customers ask when a Kaspi.kz mobile app will arrive. Terminal FX published the spot on its Vimeo channel in 2017 and tagged its work as motion design, retouching, 3D and compositing.

Spots like this live on graphics that behave as if they were in the room. Message cards, interface elements and type have to be tracked to the camera, sit at the right depth around the presenter, and stay sharp and readable at television and online sizes, while retouching keeps the live-action plate clean around them. The craft is in making layered motion design feel like one image rather than a screen pasted over a shot.
