Commercial
A making-of reel of just over two minutes that opens up Terminal FX’s commercial work. It shows how shots were built: a milk splash and wheat ears, a gymnast shot against water, a polar bear alongside a green-screen plate, an actor at a doorway on green screen, and a house and garden taken from plate to finished night scene.
Breakdowns are the most honest form of showreel. By moving from the photographed plate through CG, simulation and lighting to the final composite, they show what was shot and what was made — which is what producers and agencies need to judge before they commission. Green-screen shoots, CG characters, liquid simulation and set extension all appear here in the order they were built.
